It is the Queen of natural beauty. Pride and Prime beach town for Bangladeshi’s. Cox’s Bazar is the most popular beach town in the Chittagong division of Bangladesh, located alongside the Bay-of-Bengal in the west, bounded by Bakkhali River on the north and east, and Jhilwanj union in the south. The captain of the East India Company named Hiram Cox was appointed here. After his death, honoring him a market was established named Cox’s Bazar in 1854. Most of the hotels and restaurants serve Bangladeshi dishes but you can taste continental in few of them. Being Bangladesh is a Muslim country like the Maldives, alcohol is not easy drinks, but available at number of few 3 and 5-star hotels.

There are lots of hotels, resorts and cottages packed with many offerings and discounts especially for honeymooners. To name few of them are Ocean Paradise Hotel & Resort, Hotel Seagull, Hotel Prime Park, Sayeman Beach Resort, White Orchid, Long Beach Hotel, Uni Resort, Royal Tulip Sea Pearl Beach Resort and Nilima Resort Hotel. Some of these have their private beaches, pools and other facilities.

Most visited places in Cox’s Bazar are Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park (a tropical evergreen rain forest with an extension of an animal sanctuary), Himchari National Park (a conversation area for , research, education and recreation), Aggmed Khayang (a large Buddhist monastery), Ramu (a village with remarkable Buddhist population, which is famous for handicrafts and handmade cigar) and Teknaf (boating on the river is an extremely unforgettable memories on the opposite of the Myanmar with green forest high hills in the back).
